searching her.. in the streets of London... #7

First time here? Missed? No worry :-) Read PART 1, PART 2, PART 3, PART 4, PART 5 and PART 6 before reading the PART 7...!

Whether it could be the old woman?’ my heart was wishing so but that someone was…

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Why I am wandering like a cloud? Do I miss her a lot? What pushes me to search her indefinitely in the streets of London? Is she my destiny? I hope I will meet her someday but when that someday will come. Lot of questions but when will I find the answer?

Wandering lonely as a cloud,
I began my search in the road.
With hope as the weapon, I
search her, no, not my eye.
What did I reap? What did I sow?
Why my life has no glow?
Will I meet her? Never or now
Destiny or not only God know!

I was happy to see a woman enjoying the lines in my book, ‘Dream Love’ while I was waiting for the old woman. I wait for the old woman just because we belong to a goodhearted people category and the wait is worth because at least once in two days I enjoy someone enjoying my lines.

Hi.. Do you love these lines?

I do… If you believe in true love then you have to read this book for sure’ she said, ‘I will... Because I trust love’ I said her before leaving from the park. Two weeks have gone but I am not able to meet the old woman. ‘Will my wait will be over tomorrow?’

Hello! ... Young man, are you ok? Hello…’ the words kept on resonating in my mind and it made park to wait for the old woman indefinitely.

Someone touched me from the back, ‘Grandma! Finally, you are here! I am happy to see you!

Son! I am happy too! I read a book last week. It is one of the best books so far I read in my life, and particularly the lineIF FATE CAN BE REWRITTEN THEN I WOULD REWRITE HER AS MY DESTINY’ and the last paragraph, is very touching. I can feel the writer’s pain, I meant yours....

I was not sure what to say so kept silent... Did you enjoy the week?

'Of course, I was happy on seeing the huge response from the readers, which is a writer’s dream.' She was happy to see me excited so she said, You seems to be very very happy and excited. I am sure it has more reasons.

Of course I am.. and I was dying to tell you about my life.

Life?

Yeah’, after enjoying the function I went to pub and from there to my place. I slept peacefully after a long time because I was happy.

Goood… Thennn....

The next day was raining heavily which made me upset because I know I cannot meet you in the heavy rain but I waited for the rain to stop because I wanted to meet you Grandma. Suddenly Aamir shouted that someone has come to meet you. I was happy because I thought it was you but...

but....

'but that someone was…Hassini’, as soon as I came out of my room I was surprised to see her. I wanted to hug and kiss her madly but I cannot because I am no more in her life, with tears, I said a ‘Hi

She came running towards me, hugged, kissed me and said, ‘I said a lie.’ On hearing her, my heartbeat stopped for a second, I thanked God because I know she is my destiny, I happily hugged and kissed her.

What made you to lie?

Because I promised my dad.

Promise?... then what made you to break the promise today?

My Dad wished so... After reading your book he felt what real love is?’ I was happy to hear her because I know she is my destiny, my life...

Speak not... Instead show how much you love’ she said and so I…

'Wow! The happiest couple in the world :-) God bless you Son, I have to leave now because it may rain.' the old woman said and left the park..

***************************************************************
after 7 years…
***************************************************************

We met the same old woman in the park. ‘Grandma do you remember me?

'I do... Is she Hassini?

Yeah... she is... and this is our daughter Isha....’ I was happy to meet her so exclaimed about our life. She became happy and blessed us to live long saying, What a love story....

Author's Message: My dear friends! I thank everyone for reading all the seven parts. It is my pleasure to have you all here and I thank you for the same.. I personally feel that I didn't do justice to the title because I felt 5th and 6th was missing something, yes, I do skipped many dialogues, scenes which I wanted to write and the reason is I don't want to make you people wait. :-) Hope it came out good.. Fingers crossed....

searching her.. in the streets of London... #6

First time here? Missed? No worry :-) Read PART 1, PART 2, PART 3, PART 4 and PART 5 before reading the PART 6...!

Did you find her?’, the old woman eyes waited for a 'Yes' desperately

‘Yes... I was lucky enough to find my girl’

‘That must be the moment of your life right? Where did you meet her?’ the old woman said with a happy face…

‘Hmm... I met her in a beautiful place known for its maritime history, the town that became the site of Royal Palace, Greenwich’ I was excited on seeing her so even the place became close to my heart.

‘Wow! Great!’ The old woman became excited!

Just for a minute my eyes froze, heart started flying towards her but she broke the silence, ‘Hi!’ she said with tears

‘Hi’ I said with tears of joy. (PS: These moments cannot be expressed in words so try to imagine it) I hate the big gap between us because I wanted to hug and kiss her completely.

‘I never thought I will meet you in London’

‘But... I was sure that I will meet you because my love is true Hassini!’ she became silent...

‘How are your parents?’ she said…

‘Good. How are your parents?

‘They are happy because her daughter hears to what they say?’ a teardrop fell down when she said this. I kept silent because I was not sure what to say because I was happy to the maximum.

‘So... Did you achieve your dream? Novelist?’

‘Yeah... Dream Love. I will be publishing the book in a month or two.’

‘Cool... Finally, you have done it. I am happy for you!’

‘Thanks....’ I was waiting for a single word but...

‘So... Dream love! Good who is the special girl? I know you should have fallen in love with someone.’ I wanted to slap her at that moment itself but I didn’t do it so I kept silent.

‘What? I am waiting for your answer but you are silent’

I was about to say, ‘it’s U’ but she said… ‘Please don’t say it’s me because I…’

‘Sid, what are you doing here? We are searching for you for the past two hours even we tried to reach you on your mobile but it is not reachable. Everyone is waiting for you at the convention centre for the novel release.’ Aamir, my friend said.

‘I just realized it Aamir, come let’s start.’ I stood up, ‘Grandma, I have to leave now because I am already late. We will meet here tomorrow evening.’ I said

‘But... I will be waiting for you son....’ the old woman said with tears.

I was not sure what to say so left the place because I know the old woman understood her answer. Aamir raced his car to the centre because we were already late by half an hour. ‘You... Come out of the dream world. I have agreed to the publication request of 100 signed copies. I mean I have said that you agreed to it over phone.’

‘That’s cool dude.’ I said happily. We reached the place within ten minutes. The function started with special events and followed by the release of the novel.

‘Are you happy?’ Aamir asked me after the function.

‘Of course I am happy because my first novel has sold good. ’

‘You are a lucky writer man... Stay happy! PS: Always…’ he said and drove the car to the pub. After enjoying the evening in the pub, Aamir dropped me in my home by 11 in the night. I was so tired but my heart wanted to check the mailbox for mails from the readers. It took almost an hour to read the mails that made me to sleep late. As soon as I woke up, I learnt it is raining heavily. I waited for the rain to stop but the rain God does not wish to stop. I know I will be meeting the old woman one day to disclose what had happened in my life.

‘Someone has come to meet you Sid. Come soon.’ Aamir shouted.

‘Whether it could be the old woman?’ my heart was wishing so but that someone was…

searching her.. in the streets of London... #5

First time here? Missed? No worry :-) Read PART 1, PART 2, PART 3 and PART 4 before reading the PART 5...!

'What happened to her? Did you meet her?', the old woman said with tears in her eyes

Hassini!’ I kept on murmuring her name in ICU. It took three days for me to gain my conscious back and when I opened my eyes, I saw my mom sobbing for me to open my eyes. Nothing can equal Mom’s love and my mom is a perfect example for it. ‘Mom’, I said, she hugged me in joy! I was discharged after a week and was advised to take bed rest for a month.

Sri and our gang visited me often that helped me to learn about Hassini and it was shocking too. Her house remains locked right from the day I was hit by the gangsters and on the same day her father received her transfer certificate too it seems. It all sounded like nightmare to me but it was not..

Sid. Never shed a tear for what you lost because if she is your destiny then no one can take her away from you. The moon may stay hidden in the clouds but if time comes then it is all yours! Take good care of yourself! Do your best!’ My mom said these golden words when I started to college after a month. I as usual nodded my head because never ever I said no to my parents wish and so they…

‘Your mom is very precious! You are lucky but what happened to her?’ the old woman said,

It was very hard to live a life without her but I had too. It was hurting so I decided to break into her house because I was sure she would have left clue for me. And as planned our gang broke into her house because I had done it many times at midnight to meet her. So I followed the same technique to reach her room. I found a letter under our secret chamber.

‘Letter? Good.. Where did she go?’ the old woman said with lots of anxiety.

The whole world went blank after reading her letter. Tears… there was no reason to stop it. I wanna live my life with her… 'Hassini.. Hassini' I screamed :-( Life became miserable but thank God, Sridevi was with me. She was my hope, her words made me believe that one day I will meet Hassini and that’s why, I successfully completed my college life. Glad I got my job in the last semester itself. Life was Sri, Sri Sri then... Her friendship was the only weapon I had in my life and it kept me motivated always!

Life is a plain sheet of paper. People used to fill it with tears and smiles. I was not an exception to deny it because life is a mixture of emotions! My parents were happy because I got into one of the top IT concerns of India but... God once again left us in pain by the name of recession. Life once again became miserable and I spent most of the time sitting in the park bench thinking about her.

Sid! God wants to bless you better so wait for your turn’, Sri used to motivate me and as she said I got my chance. I grabbed it to prove myself. I do succeeded in it. I meant I grabbed the opportunity when my concern gave us a call back. I did my best to rock in my team that won me many awards. Not only I concentrated in my career but also I was writing a novel, “Dream Love!” I was enjoying my life in my new company with Sri but... at least once in a day the name Hassini flashed in my heart. I know one day I will meet her so I waited for that day.

Days rolled on like seconds with Sridevi’s company and our intimacy grew strong. She became more of my life and her friendship was one of the best things that happened in my life. One day she said me happy news…

Hassini is in London… I just learnt from one of her family relatives but I couldn’t get more info dear :-)’ I was happy because in the past five years this was the best good news my ears have heard. I had no words to thank her because that many times I have thanked her.

I wished to fly to London but will God grant me the wish?’ I said some million times to Sri... and as my Mom and Sri said, ‘God will....’ and it happened. I was selected for an onsite assignment in London by my concern and I too travelled within few days to London.

London... London… London... a dream comes true moment when I set my foot here... I was jumping in joy because I know I will meet her for sure.

searching her.. in the streets of London... #4

You can read PART 1, PART 2 and PART 3 before reading the PART 4...!

What did she reply and why did she push you?’, the old woman said..

What the ****? Why did you bite my lips? Isn’t that lust?
What…? If you think it is lust then it is....
Huhh... Do you love me or my…
Idiot... I love you....
Then what’s all this. I am afraid..

See... The situation made me to bite your lips otherwise I wouldn’t have. I love you so much and I can’t say how much I love you. I love your eyes because it reflects your heart always. Today it yearned for a kiss that’s all’ I text her but there was no reply from her. Hours later, I went to her home.

Hello Uncle How are you?’,
Good Sid. How is the college life?
I am enjoying… Where is Hassini?’ I said looking down.

She is in her room’ he said, I smiled, went to her home to see what she is doing. She was too sexy in her purple color nightwear that made me to read her beauty right from top to bottom.

Why did you come here?
To kiss my girl
Shall I call my dad?
Will you?’ She was smiling so I went close to her to feel her warmth.

I love your eyes a lot because it always shows me your heart. I love you my angel’ she hugged me right away to feel our love, later she had her revenge, although painful but still it was sweet.

Things were faster than we expected, days rolled like a minute and our love was sweeter day by day. The timetable she prepared was very useful because it not only helps us to study but also helped me stay with her for long hours. I slept in her house for most of the days either in her room or in the couch downstairs. Exams, exams and exams, it was a buzzword as we faced the university exams for the first time.

It’s all over..’ she said when we completed our last exam.
But it is just a starting.. Still we have seven more semesters’ idiot’ I was pulling her legs now and then. Girls look pretty when they go mad and she is a perfect example for it.

Idiot! Good Morning...!’, ‘Hubby! Good Morning’, ‘Wifey! Good Night...!’, ‘I love you’, ‘Love you dear’, ‘Love you love you love you’, ‘Love you so much Hubby! Sweet Dreams and PS: ONLY ME’, ‘Sexy! Good Night!’, ‘You got it right Hubby!’, ‘Miss your kisses :-) Good Night Wifey!’, the days were seconds for us with such sweet messages. Thanks to AIRTEL for providing us free sms because of which we were able to text the things, which she hesitates to speaks, PS: Only Sometimes..

Happy New Year ! I wish the year to do more wonders for us.’ She text, and we spoke for hours wishing, actually dreaming (discussing) about our future life. I took her to the nearby Balaji Temple in the evening. I sent her a sms,

Open a New Diary yes it is a brand New Year!
The blank pages make us realize life is an unknown mystery!
Meet special people to color your life with sweet memories!
Give your best to produce the best of yourself!
Greet the challenges with a smile!
Make your diary worth millions!
I am not sure whether my life will worth millions or not but
it worth for a sweet heart’s love, forever love!
Keep smiling wifey, as it needs articulation of just 14 muscles!

Hubby... Love you forever… Wanna live my life with you, only with you forever’ we loved each other in messages.
Good Morning Wifey! Happy First Day!’ I text her wishes.

Fun, fun and fun all over the day, not only on the first day but also for weeks because the college known for discipline is now known for enjoying only for our department. Pongal, Bhogi, Republic Day, the list of holidays were more than number of working days, which made our life lively, and with friends like Sridevi, Rahul it was fun, fun and fun.

All of a sudden, the calendar displayed the date as Feb 13 and my watch showed 11:55. I dialed her number to wish my love a Happy Valentine Day, and we spoke for hours in phone because it was a rainy day. Although the rain spoiled our plans, still we enjoyed because I was in her home enjoying the hot Bhaji’s she prepared.

I scribbled poem for her,
My instincts revealed
that I am in love with an angel!
who swept me off the floor
with her hypnotic eyes!
The love bonds us with
eternal love, trust, and peace!
It started from the day
we arrived on the planet
and until our last breath
the ‘heavy love' will continue!

I am not born lucky but I am lucky because I love you’ she text me for the poem. I was lucky because I had Hassini as my love. As everyone says if you are lucky even a bad day will be yours so I was in my college, never caught by any teacher when romancing with her eyes. If someone asks me how long is a day I will answer to it as less than a second because that’s how it was for us.

Happy Happy Birthday Day Hubby!’ she shouted waking me at 12 with our friend’s gang. Usually I will be monster to apply cake for all but this time I was caught because it was the time for my friend’s revenge. They applied cake not only on my face but also everywhere on my body! It took almost an hour for me to bathe. Finally, they made me wear the dress they bought; painted me with lipstick, kajal and what all-possible fashion things a girl would use, actually for a minute I believed I am a girl looking at the mirror because of their work. I was enjoying every passing second of the day. I thanked God some million times for blessing such sweet friends and sweet girl. They did not leave my room until seven in the morning and made me to get blessings from my parents in the same costume, ha ha ha, the funniest moments of my life and I can never ever forget these sweet moments. I do not have words to thank them instead, I wished everyone to be part of my life forever.

As soon as they left my home, I missed Hassini so I messaged her as, ‘Shall we meet in the park’, ‘I love too....’, ‘and we shall meet then. Come to the park’. I reached the park in less than five minutes and waited for her. Few minutes later, she came to the park wearing the same pale pink Salwar Kameez, which she was wearing on the first day of our college. She sat next to me which made the world went unnoticed. I waited for the precious gift that she understood through my eyes. She came close to me, which made me feel her warmth but...

Suddenly a gang of ten people came there with hockey sticks; cricket stumps etc., and started to hit me without any second thoughts. I tried to hit them back but I am not a film hero to hit ten people with hands so nothing helped me. I was losing my conscious with every strike from them so I pleaded her to leave but she did not instead she cried for help. Blood started gushing out from my head, hands, face, lips and everywhere so she came between me the gangsters to stop their brutal attack and they stopped after that. Hassini’s dad came there, which made us happy but…

‘Idiots... Finish him off’ he ordered and took her from me. She pleaded a lot to her dad but he did not hear anything instead he dragged her to the car. The gangsters once again started to strike me and with no energy left, I fell unconscious. And before I closed my eyes, I saw my angel crying for me :-( :-( :-(

'Did anyone came to rescue you? What happened to her? Did you meet her?', the old woman said with tears in her eyes

searching her.. in the streets of London... #3

You can read PART 1 and PART 2 before reading the PART 3...!

‘But’ the old woman said with her eyes wide opened once again.

But.. I saw an angel coming down…’ somewhere in my heart, I heard an A R Rahman song, actually I felt like kissing her right away but controlled my feelings because I was not alone.

Sri, hide.. hide..’, we all hid ourselves outside the gate waiting for the clock to show 11:59 as well as enjoyed the fun because she was searching for us inside the gate. When the clock ticked 12:00, we lighted the candle shouting, ‘Happy Birthday Hassini ! !’. She came running to the street, blew the candle, and enjoyed our surprise. When it comes to birthday celebrations, I will be the first one to apply cake on birthday babies and she is not an exception to escape from me.

No.. No… please idiot.. no no please’ she pleaded but NO MERCY for anyone on their special days. First we applied cake on her face, next decorated her with tomatoes and egg. She tried to escape from us but couldn’t because we MONSTERS never miss such sweet opportunities. It took almost forty-five minute for us to complete the celebrations and while leaving I said, Hey you look damn cute, and your eyes are so so hypnotic. Why don’t you donate them? I don’t want such beautiful eyes to be buried in earth instead let it light someone life.’ She was happy to hear my words and so her parents. As I wished, Hassini, Sridevi, our gang and I donated our eyes on her birthday that made us feel proud and happy. ‘So see you guys..’ I said, ‘See you.. bye…’ everyone happily said before leaving the hospital.

As soon as I reached my home, I missed Hassini so I sent her a sms, ‘Shall we meet in the park’, ‘I love too..’, ‘We shall meet then. Come to the park’. I reached the park in less than five minutes and waited for her. Few minutes later, someone closed my eyes from backside of the bench, 'Hey idiot…' I said and pulled her to the front to make her sit close to me. To my surprise, she was wearing the same pale pink Salwar Kameez, which she was wearing on the first day of our college. She was looking damn cute in her Salwa almost like a pink rose.

So why did you change your birthday dress’, ‘I like this dress more than any other dress of mine’ and she blushed like never before which meant, ‘I LOVE YOU SO MUCH’.

I lost myself in her hypnotic eyes and the world went unnoticed but when few drizzles started dancing down to earth, we restored ourselves from our dream world. In no time, the rain started to pour heavier and we had no other option other than to hide ourselves in the nearby tree. It was very big enough to shelter us but still we were almost drenched in the rain, because of which she started to shiver.

I had no clue on how to stop her shivering so I hugged her. Suddenly millions of butterflies were flying in my stomach. I somehow gained courage to empty it by hugging her tightly, in turn, she. I slowly lifted her face, kissed on her forehead at first, then on her cheeks, and chin. She became red by the moment I reached my destiny and sealed her's for few minutes. I was out of my control so she pushed me and left the park.

I am sorry.. Please.. I am sorry’ I text her.

What did she reply and why did she push you?’, the old woman said..

Author Message: My dear friends I was not able to write for the past one month due to high pressure in offshore. Now I am in onsite but still feeling the same pressure, and because of this, I do not wish to leave this place alone. Therefore, I’m writing this story as different chapters in my leisure time. I love to make it lively and interesting so I am stopping at places I feel like stopping. I hope you will be happy to read as chapters instead of reading it as a single piece for hours. I am sure this post won’t be more than six or seven chapters so until the last chapter please bear with me. Also, I am typing this directly in the editor so I am sure there will be grammar mistakes so please bear with me. searching her.. in the streets of London... #2

You can read PART 1 of the story here...!

What did she respond?’ the old woman said with her eyes wide opened.

She did not respond or speak with me thereafter’. Then…

I got her number from one of my friend ‘Sridevi’ to call her on weekend. I do call her on a weekend.

What did she say then?'

Hassini… This is Sid… I am sorry for what happened the other day. I love you so much from the day I saw you in temple. Please respond…’ I heard nothing but someone smiling silently on the other end. I waited for a minute for her response but she did not speak, so I hang the call.

A minute later I received a call from her, she said, ‘Sorry I was in the hall with my parents. So what you want me to reply?’ I smiled and said, ‘Of course a positive reply....’ She did not respond any for a minute, ‘Hey I will call you later. Your father-in-law is calling me... Good Day.. Bye

What? What? My father-in-law?’ I jumped in joy, danced in my room, and flied in my bike all over in my place. I sent her a sms as,

‘My hands told me I’m shivering with fear,
When I only thought of saying it to my dear!

Heart became restless and sounded louder,
Seconds before, it was as silent as falling powder.

Thoughts crept into the mind with great force,
Confused, and stopped it from thinking, of course!

I would imagine that future, a few hours away;
That would burden it with my past straightaway.

Carrying an untold love is heavy, indeed;
Courage, real courage is what I need!

Hiding my fear, or hiding myself in fear,
I came to you and looked at you, my dear.

That very sight quenched the restless senses,
Which were thirsty for that real courage!

I became my natural self, totally myself;
And realized you were surely my real self.

No words said, I saw the ‘heavy’ love,
Getting dissolved in us as it reached you!’

The next day she accepted my invite for a coffee. So I took her to nearby CCD and we sipped cappuccino for almost one hour.

I love your poem a lot.’ ‘Hmm’ and the conversation heated on and on… And as promised, I went to drop her in the home.

Well... This is a beautiful feeling... Holding the hands of our loved ones while walking is a beautiful feeling’ she said, silently I listened to her words thanking God for blessing her. All of a sudden tiny little drops of water fell on us to create an intimate world. We thoroughly enjoyed the rain by playing in it with and I would say it was a divine feeling. After reaching home, I sent her a sms as,

First sweet date
Little drops of rain
Drenching us
Warm love waves
Lifting moods to divine world
A sweet love downpour

She sent a reply, ‘How romantic you are…

I sent a special reply and invited her to my home for a function on Friday. She was so sweet by accepting my invite and her presence in saree made my day. Girls look pretty when they go mad or when they are too happy and she is a perfect example for it. While I was admiring her beauty, she came jumping to me questioning, ‘She is very good looking, by the way who is she?

'She is my relative actually my parents wish that I should marry her’. Her eyes become moist on hearing this, ‘Hey... idiot... It is decided by my parents but you are my girl, my destiny, I promise’ she smiled with tears of joy. She looked very cute and her innocence made me fall in love with her madly.

In the mean time Mom and Dad came to us, ‘Mom, this is Hassini’ ‘Hello Mom....’ Hassini said, Mom was impressed with her words so she smiled and so my dad too. ‘And you know Sri na... The stupid friend right from my school days’, Mom blessed both and asked me to take good care of them. I was happy because I crossed my first hurdle of introducing Hassini to my parents. We had our dinner sitting next to each other and on seeing that Sri credited us as a perfect couple. Before leaving, Sri reminded me that Sunday is Hassini Birthday.

So I sent a sms to Sri as, ‘I am planning to give Hassini a birthday surprise. What say?’ she sent a reply as, ‘but you never planned any surprises on my birthday. Hmm... Just kidding. We shall give her a surprise but what?

By 11:50 we will assemble before her house and by 11:58 we will call her to street to cut the cake. What say?

Fantastic idea... and you are romantic hero da....

so sweet of you... inform our friends... I will buy cake, candles, etc.

And as planned, we reached her house by 11:50 on Saturday night. Sri called on her mobile and asked her to come downstairs.

We expected her to come downstairs but...

But’ the old woman said with her eyes wide opened once again.

searching her.. in the streets of London... #1

Hello! ... Young man, are you ok? Hello…’ a good-hearted old woman tried to bring me back to this world but… her try resulted in vain so she slapped me. ‘Huhhh’ that slap brought me back to this world and my tired eyes greeted her with a ‘Hello’.

You seem to be upset with something’ she said sitting next to me but I did not utter any word. She tapped on my shoulder and said,Son, I don’t know what’s your problem is but it is not good to keep them in your heart so please share it with me’ but instead of words, I answered her with a teardrop. She helped me with her kerchief wishing that things would be ok soon. She took my dairy from my lap and as soon as she opened it, she found the reason for my sadness, so she said, ‘Who is the girl? What happened to her?’ First, I kept silent but she insisted me more to know about her. ‘Can I call you as my grandmother because you look like’, she nodded her head and once again asked me about the girl. So I….

It all started on the first day of my college life when I was praying God to bless me success in all my endeavours, and when I opened my eyes, I saw an angel standing before me in pale pink salwar kameez praying to God. Her wavy hair with a couple of strands dancing here and there in air, tiny little ears, rosy cheeks, a perfect rose bud lips generated few millilitres of hormones in me and when she opened her heart stealing eyes I lost myself in her. Is she a human being or an angel...? I was confused and really wanted someone to pinch me because I was mesmerized completely be her hypnotic eyes.

Hi. This is Hassini’, she said, ‘Hii… Hai… Sid... sorry Siddesh’ I stammered, and before I utter the next word her mom came so we smiled at each other and left the temple. But I never know I was lucky enough to be her classmate until our lunch hour, I exclaimed in happiness. Days rolled sooner than I expected and whenever we met, we exchanged smiles because our eyes conveyed the words that we have for the other.

I never know October 5th would be special but it is, as usual the day started with cool dewdrops, as I stepped out of my home to start to college. I was wearing a sky blue shirt and dark trousers. I started walking towards the bus stop and got into bus. It moved very slowly because of the ups and downs in the roads, I suddenly noticed that minute hand of my watch edged towards ‘3’ and the other just passed ‘8’. Peeping through the window, I noticed Hassini, my dream girl was riding on scooty pep. Without my knowledge, my eyes started admiring her beauty, within seconds (only for me) the bus stopped, and I got down from the bus. Entering the college, I saw Hassini was at the other end of the same pathway, so I hastened my steps with the boot sounding loud and turned left that took me nearer to her. In the meanwhile, she slowed her steps as she noticed me rushing towards her. When we met in same line, smiled at each other and I never know that, it would take another 90 seconds to cover the rest 12 meters to reach their classroom but it happened.

Because we both walked like tortoise smiling at each other, she said, 'Sid, how was your physics cycle test?' Nodding my head 'Not so bad', 'Hmmm.. So…' smiled and reading her beauty from top to bottom 'you are looking damn cute in this rose chudi', 'Hmmm... So...', smiled again and looking straight into her eyes I said, 'so.. You are blushing a lot, Hassini', 'Hmmm.. So..', I said, 'so.. I am in love with you', she was shocked to hear those words from me but her eyes revealed that she was happy to hear those words and we entered our classroom walking in unison, much like a perfect couple entering a party hall! The usual comments about ‘us’ was roaring in the air but I couldn’t hear anything because the endless charm of those most recent 90 seconds had captivated my senses and my heart was skipping beats wondering what could be her response.

'What did she respond?' the old woman said with her eyes wide opened
