What can a sharp mind and fiery tongue can do in a sticky situation

This post have won in ‘Sets You On Fire’Contest, organized by IndiBlogger in association with KFC. I thank all the sweethearts for selecting my post as one of the winning entries. Thank you for your support. Happy Man.. Thank you thank you thank you...

Once again you made love with your dream girl’ her words resonated with huge excitement. ‘Of course I did’ I said, on hearing my words she started to blush, so she stayed away from webcam. ‘Ohi… Please do not imagine yourself in that situation. Come inside the webcam frame.’ I said. ‘Nah... I did not’, but her eyes told she indeed imagined herself in that situation. ‘So you are going to write about your dream!’ her question sounded like an answer. ‘No. I lost the interest in writing.’ I said. She was surprised on hearing me so she was bugging me to reveal the reason for my statement. I said, ‘I am person who write to find peace in life or to share my happiness but after landing in London, I found neither, moreover I miss my mom because it is almost ninety days since I ate the delicious healthy food cooked by my mom and that’s pretty much the reason.’ She did not reply a word because she is in the same situation and that made her eyes upset, so in order to cheer her up I changed the topic after a virtual friendly hug.

IndiBlogger has announced a new contest ‘SETS YOU ON FIRE’ in association with KFC’ I said, ‘KFC! Wow! I love KFC chickens, the best among the best.’ She said. ‘I could feel your love with KFC from your words’ I said. ‘Yeah! I love yummy fried chickens and KFC is the best.’ she said, and I felt the excitement in her eyes because eyes never lie.

Hello! Lost in my eyes?’ she questioned, I smiled, ‘Just kidding! Did you win in the ‘Dove’ contest?’ she questioned, ‘Of course I do… I won several hearts with my post and you are one of those hearts’ I said, ‘Of course! You have won my heart with your words, Mr. Writer!’ she said, I smiled; she smiled, and said ‘Let me ask a question and if you answer to this then you are the winner of this contest. What is the abbreviation of KFC?’ ‘Kentucky Fried Chicken, I think even little kids know this!’ I said, ‘He he he... Ok tell me about the contest.’ She said.

The contest is to describe an event where your sharp mind and fiery tongue got you out of a sticky situation.’ I said, she said, ‘Wait let me tell the story Mr. Romancer! The story line will be a writer narrating how his sharp mind and fiery tongue got him out of misunderstanding with his wife that his stories were true and he had many girlfriends.’ ‘He he he... That’s an old story my dear friend.’ I said, she smiled, and said, ‘Ok ok ok… I think… A cute little baby questioning his father on how much he love his mother and that too before his mother…

That's very sticky but... Nah... Enough of writing love stories and dreams. This time if I write I may write about a fiery funny incident happened in my college life, a story about my gang.’ I said, she said, ‘Fiery funny incident! Interesting, please narrate it to me... Please…’ ‘I would love to…’ I said, ‘Please go ahead, Mr. Writer’ she said.

Our college is known as central jail for its strict rules and regulations. Even if you forget to bring record to a lab, actually a small mistake but considered as criminal offense and that person internal marks will be screwed up and in the worst case he may be suspended for a week. In such environment we, a gang of ten raw students who are the best in studies, extracurricular activities, and mischief activities ruled the college. We neither bothered to stay as outstanding (out-standing) students nor about the suspensions. Actually, in the history of our college, we are the only batch who was never suspended, due to any mischief activities until that event happened.

Out-Standing, just like me.. C’mon tell me what happened…’ she said,

This incident happened exactly three and half years ago in my final semester. Anand (யானை), a fat sweet-hearted person who always creates a funny environment in our class once stuck in a sticky situation and was about to be fired out of my college but his sharp mind helped to get him out of the sticky situation.

Anand... or… ok continue…’ she said...

One of our college rules is either to write or to fill first two papers in the cycle or model test answer sheets or else they have to bring their parents to college. I know it is a stupid rule but what to do rules are rules and it has to be followed in my college.

Yeah... yeah... Rules are rules... I hate rules....’ she said…

We do follow rules for most of the papers but ISD (Information System Design) is an exception not because it is a dry subject but because of the stupid idiotic lecturer who handled that paper. She always irritate by assigning seminars because she don’t know even abs about that paper but she acts as if she knows everything and moreover even if we write the correct answers she evaluates poorly which adds fuel to the fire. Because of this reason, we planned to answer only for two papers for the model exams and as planned, we wrote our love stories for ISD Model exam but Anand went a step ahead, drew the lecturer picture in the answer sheet (PS: He is very good at this).

He drew the picture of your lecturer? OMG what happened then?’ her eyes awaited for my answer.

What can happen other than suspension? Simple isn’t it? Actually as soon as we came out of the examination hall, Anand revealed about this. I was little afraid because we have no suspension streak for the past three and half years despite our mischief activities but this time I had no hope. And as expected, our lecturer started evaluating our gang papers in the first break, as soon as she saw this she complained to our HOD.

OMG… What did you HOD say then? Don’t say your HOD asked him to meet principal’ she said.

As usual our HOD asked Anand and me (class rep) to report in his room. I was really tensed about the situation but Mr. Cool (Anand) was as usual stood like a pillar and our lecturer was firing at us about various issues that almost fried us as well as our HOD, he said, ‘What’s all this? Is this the way you behave in your final semester? Should I suspend you?’ I was literally dead because we do not have a loophole to escape out of this sticky situation but…

But... please tell me....’ she said.

But Mr. Cool’s sharp mind and fiery tongue did the trick. All of a sudden, Anand fired a question to our HOD. ‘Sir, Did you ever seen me bringing pen to the exams?’ ‘No... I myself have lend my pen on few occasions but you never gave it back’ HOD said. ‘Then how will I bring a pencil? Our mam challenged us that she will suspend us by cooking a story but I never thought she would cook such cheap stories.’ Anand Said and everyone started to think, I got the niche, so I started to shout at our mam, they shouted back at us, and we, almost like street dogs, finally HOD requested us to leave this issue.

We came out of the room smiling because his sharp mind and fiery tongue not only saved us to get out the sticky situation but also to maintain the streak of first and most mischief batch to pass out without any suspensions.

Wow, you guys have enjoyed your college days like anything....’ She said, ‘Yeah we did.’ I said, ‘Why don’t you write this incident for the contest.’ She said. ‘As I said I lost interest in writing so I am not sure’ I said

Please you should, and you will if you really love your dream girl’ she smiled. I smiled when I was about to press on Publish button and I hope you will smile when you read this post.

PS: I as a part of IndiBlogger, ‘Sets You On FireContest, have published this post. The contest is to, "Describe an event where your sharp mind and fiery tongue got you out of a sticky situation. Do leave your footprints to add a smile to my face..

World Food Day - Blog Action Day - 2011

BlogJunta - An ode to the Blogosphere

Dear Friends,

I cordially welcome you to Few Miles! Today in association with BAD, I am writing about Food.

Firstly, what is BAD? BAD is Blog Action Day, an annual event that unites the world’s bloggers in posting about the same issue on the same day. Our aim is to raise awareness and trigger a global discussion around an important issue that impacts us all.

Secondly, Why to write about FOOD? This year Blog Action Day coincides with World Food Day (16th October), a time that focuses the world’s attention on food, something we all have in common.

What is Food? According to Wiki, Food is any substance consumed to provide nutritional support for the body. It is usually of plant or animal origin, and contains essential nutrients, such as carbohydrates, fats, proteins, vitamins, or minerals.

What is World Food Day? World Food Day was established by FAO’s Member Countries in November 1979. The World Food Day theme for 2011 is "Food prices - from crisis to stability".

How important is Food?
Food is usually ingested by an organism (human or any) and assimilated by the body's cells in an effort to produce energy, maintain life, and to stimulate growth. A human being can survive up to 21 days of total starvation but it again depends on how healthy he/she is.

What is the reason for starvation?
The reason for starvation for Food could be either lack of rainwater, poor cultivation land, or it could be any. If it is because of nature then it is difficult to find a solution but if the reason is Government then what to do?

Flash News: “India Food Prices Edge Higher” “Onion, Petrol and Beer Costs Rs 70” “Food inflation rate goes high” “Tens of thousands of people have gathered in India's capital to protest surging food prices” “Onion prices goes high, 100/KG” and the story goes on...

Why this is happening only in developing countries like India? If the theme of this year’s World Food Day is to change from crisis to stability then it should be followed everywhere right? I wish it to be... because people who earn 100 Rs per day are starving for food and shelter.

What are the impacts of starvation?
A picture is worth a thousand words...” Here are few of the pictures that will show what reality is.

Tears? I had starved for food for many days in my childhood because my sweet family is richer than richest in love and affection but was poor in terms of monetary values. With God’s grace and our hard work made us, what we are today but it is not the same for all individuals in developing nations. So try to help the poor if not with money at least with Food.

On this note, I wish to share about Akshaya Patra, an initiative to enable hunger free education in India, and it serves 1.3 million Children in India. The birth of Akshaya Patra started with a story of compassion. Looking out of a window one day in Mayapur, a village near Calcutta, His Divine Grace A.C Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada saw a group of children fighting with street dogs over scraps of food. From this simple, yet heart breaking incident, came the determination that: No one within a ten-mile radius of our center should go hungry and it bloomed to “No child in India should be go hungry” and it is successful as it already serving 1.3 million children in India. For more info visit www.akshayapatra.org.

Here is an acrostic about Food ~

F – Food has to be donated
O – Only if it is worth eating
O – Old, rotten foodstuffs may
D – Destroy the hope of little flowers

Save little flowers because they are the future of the world.

There is so much to say about food but it cannot be said in a single post so my dear readers read all the posts participating in Blog Action Day to help us to fight for the theme. Also, share this post to spread the word... Will you?

Take a quiz now which is mandatory and please think about the last question. Do make a change by supporting us with your mail. Vande Mataram

Freedom from Fuel Hikes ~ a boon for car lovers

This post have won in 'Freedom From Fuel Hikes' Contest organized by IndiBlogger in association with FIAT. I thank all the sweethearts for the like rain and selecting my post as one of the winning entries. Thank you for your support. Happy Man.. Thank you thank you thank you...

Morning is chill in Bangalore but Monday mornings are blues everywhere. I am not an exception to deny it but my fate, I have to reach office on time even on Mondays.

‘Hey Sid... Karthik has put his papers....’
‘Don’t kid Isha....’... ‘I am serious idiot....’

‘Oh this is a bad decision. How he can be so stupid’ I said to myself on the way to Karthik’s cabin.

‘Hey have you put your papers?’
‘Oh yeah... I have put my papers....’
‘Are you nuts? Why all of a sudden?’
‘Am I… I have a genuine reason dude…’
‘What is so genuine Karthik?’
‘Come let’s go out and discuss.’

It is easy to come out of the development center but the toughest task is escape from manager’s eyes, which was the most difficult task. Somehow, we managed to come out without being captured by any of the 11 demons. We grabbed a cup of tea for both of us before we started to discuss.

‘What is so genuine Karthik?’
‘Salary… I have been offered 7 Lakh in my new concern.’
‘Seven... That’s huge for a two years experience guy... but....’
‘What’
‘Karthik… Here you have scope for onsite right?’
‘I do agree dude’

‘Then what made you to take this stupid decision? You even got a good hike too....’

‘Yeah I agree Sid but....’
‘What…’
‘Don’t interrupt dude... Let me complete....’
‘Go ahead Karthik’

‘Indian Government has raised the rate of petrol. Don’t you know that?’
‘I do... But what is the relation Karthik?’
‘Are you so dumb?’
‘I am... I can’t relate dude....’

‘See... My car is a second hand car, it results in very poor mileage i.e., just 10 KMPL (Petrol). I have to travel 15 KMS to office from my home. Therefore, in total 15+15 = 30, which costs 71.36 * 3 = 214.08, and on an average we travel 22 days, so the total is 4709.76 Rs. + Rent (4500) + Food (4000) + Gym (1500) + Body Mass Powder (2500). It sums to 17210 Rs. IT, PT, and other tax sums to 2000. In total, I have to spend Rs. 19210 a month and my salary is just 20210. How much I save?’

I really became so dumb after hearing his non-stop speech but whatever he said is true. He can save 1000 Rs at the max but how come he can save 1000; he has to pay his mobile bill right.

‘Can you still say I took a stupid decision?’

‘Well, not exactly but I have a solution for you. Fight with demons and try to get 25 % percent hike here itself. Go far a Car loan in HDFC bank and buy a FIAT PUNTO man. I am sure you will love the car as well as you can save the money.’

‘How is that possible?’
FIAT PUNTO DIESEL edition is now available at the price of petrol car man.
‘Unbelievable Sid’

‘See to believe dude. It is available from 4.5 to 6.0 Lakh, and if you choose loan it will help you to save more money by reducing the Income Tax’
‘But... What about the mileage?’

Wait... Let me complete dumbo... "Fiat Punto 90 HP". The 1.3L, Multijet diesel engine of Fiat Punto 90 HP delivers 93 PS of maximum power with 209Nm of maximum torque that makes it the most powerful diesel hatchback in India. The car offers excellent drive dynamics – Ride, Handling, Braking and also superior fuel efficiency of 20KMPL. The cost of the car is also cheap; you will get free fuel vouchers, free insurance and free road side assistance.

‘Really’ Karthik eyes puzzled on hearing about FIAT PUNTO. In the meantime Isha joined us for the tea.

‘Yes... See my expenses... My car is a FIAT PUNTO 90 HP, it provides me unbelievable mileage i.e., 20 KMPL (Diesel). Even If I travel 30 KMS in total I have to pay much less compared to you... Up & Down Travel 15+15 = 30, which costs 45.16 * 1.5 = 67.74 (which is less than 1 litre petrol), and in average we travel on 22 days, so the total is 1490.28 Rs which results in saving Rs. 3000 per month. + Rent (4500) + Food (4000) + Gym (1500) + Body Mass Powder (2500). It sums to 14000 Rs… IT, PT, and other things sums to 400 (Because I have a car loan). In total I have to spend Rs. 14400 a month, my salary is 20210 and so I can save nearly 5000 Rs dude.

He became so dumb on hearing my monthly expenses and savings. I advised him to demand for either 25 % hike or for onsite opportunity here in this company with the help of the offer he holds and asked him to order FIAT PUNTO, India’s most preferred Diesel technology. His smile reflected the sign of relief he could get from petrol but no one can save him from the demons for the next one hour in the name of discussion.

Isha also agreed to order one for her dad. So guys, if you love cars but if the petrol price puts you in a position to hate cars then here is the solution.Order FIAT PUNTO or Linea as soon as possible and enjoy the benefits of the advanced and most preferred Diesel Technology. As I advised Karthik, “See to Believe”, stop here to know more about FIAT PUNTO, TEST DRIVE the car and take one to your home. I have done it already and it is your turn now... Enjoy…

~ Will my life be colourful? ~

This post have won in Take Flight With Color Contest organized by IndiBlogger in association with HP (LaserJet Printer ~ colours your Business and Life). I thank all the sweethearts for selecting my post as one of the winning entries. Thank you for your prayers, votes and wishes.. Happy Man.. Thank you thank you thank you...

I was sitting outside the scan room waiting for my dad to come out. Life was dark and black from last Friday (17-06-2011). But then... how colourful it was before? I silently closed my eyes and revisited my sweet colourful memories.

My sweet family is richer than richest in love and affection but yet to grow in monetary values. It consists of five flowers, first my dad 'Mr. Murugan' working as a painter, my mom 'Mrs. Meenakshi Murugan' a perfect homemaker, my elder sister 'Priya Arun' she is married and a perfect homemaker and my younger brother, ‘Raja' pursuing his B.Sc in Nautical Science. Although I am in Bangalore, my bro in his college hostel, my sister in her home and my parents in our home, whenever we meet it was fun, smiles, happiness and colourful altogether. This is my sweet home which had seen all our smiles and colourful moments of life right from the moment I was born until last Friday.

It is a big list and I love to mention a few...

Da-daddy ‘I learnt A,B,C’ showing my slate to my sweet dad and mom

Daddy, ‘First Rank’ I shouted showing my U.K.G report card to my dad and mom

‘2 x 5 =’ 10, I smiled happily after answering my dad correctly

‘Thanks dad for the pencil’... I was much excited about writing with ‘Natraj Pencil’

‘Daddy, my sweet bro’... I exclaimed touching my mom’s stomach, they said not to dream about bro as God only knows the gender of the child but I strongly said the baby will be a boy baby and as I believed, my sweet bro touched this earth on March 31, 1993.

‘aww, my bro and my sis are the sweetest person in this world’ I exclaimed now and then

‘The luckiest person in the world is ...’ I happily shouted after completing my fifth Standard Annual Exams.

‘ahooooooooooo... today my Sweet sister scored 481 in X Standard Public Examination (School First, State 10th)... Wow’ I said proudly to this world
‘It is my turn to register my name and I did so by scoring centum in Mathematics X Standard Public Exams’

‘I got a merit seat in one of the top university of India’... I was happy man then.

‘Aww... I got selected in Campus Interview’, it was proud moment for my dad and Mom... Awww...

‘Wow, today I received my first salary. This Sms is an acknowledgement... Wow...” I exclaimed...

‘Bro, you did it’ I congratulated him when he managed to get seat for Nautical Science (his dream).

‘Wow, my niece scored 492/500, State Fifth (X Standard Public Examination)

And it goes on...

Uncountable sweet colourful moments in my life and SmileS, as I say I was enjoying every single moment in my sweet of journey called ‘Life’ and its reflections is my blog, ‘Few Miles’, a colourful love blog. It has seen many colourful moments right from the moment I first started this blog and here are few of those..

I was happily dreaming about my life, and they planned to get me married, Life was colourful but when my dad went down to earth with abdominal pain. My heart stopped for a minute, and he was taken to the hospital where he was first given treatment to control the unbearable pain. Later doctors doubted about the possibility of any tumour in stomach, so we were advised for endoscopy, which revealed the truth, and on different scans and tests, they confirmed that my sweet father who brought me up in life with all pain is suffering from carcinoma in large intestine.

I never thought this would happen to my dad but… God made it happen… I am so disturbed from the moment I heard this. I’m void, my life is dark and black, and with pain all around me, I could just shed blood from my pen.

and here is a poem for my dad (I penned this on Father’s Day)...

O my Dear Dad,
I remember the time; you first embraced me and said,
“You are my gift and nothing can equal my happiness”

O my Dear Dad,
I remember the time when I first uttered “apppaaa” ~ “daddy) and I know
“You love me a lot and nothing can equal your love”

O my Dear Dad,
I remember the time when I held your hands and tried to walk, you said
“You are my world and one day you will be the king of this world”

O my Dear Dad,
I remember the time when I first went to school crying, you said
“You are my son and you will make me proud one day”

O my Dear Dad,
I remember the time; you taught me cycling and said,
“You are the best, and you will succeed in all your endeavours”

O my Dear Dad,
I remember the time when I scored centum in State Examination, and you said
“You made me proud my son”

O my Dear Dad,
I remember the time; you advised me to take good care of myself and learn English in college
“You are the king and you will prove you to this world”

O my Dear Dad,
I remember the time when I first left home to a new world, and you said
“You are a neonate, take care of yourself”

O my Dear Dad,
Today I’m here, tears are my friend, God is my only hope and I wish
“You should be alright soon”

Before taking leave, I request all of you to pray for my DAD, and wish him good wishes as Monday, he is gonna to be operated (Carcinoma ~ SUPRA MAJOR OPERATION BY WHIPPLE PROCEDURE). I wish and pray to God that he should be fine after this operation. So please pray for my DAD to get well soon.

~ Cute Tunes ~

This post have won in Blogeshwar 9.0 organized by Anubhooti. I thank all the sweet hearts for pushing me to win with their GOLDEN VOTES... Thank you thank you thank you...

This post is published as a part of Blogeshwar and Anubhooti
So much has been written about her over the years. People have exhausted the vocabulary in describing her rejuvenating beauty. But, she still throws up newness and mystery in all her forms that captivate our imagination. Nature’ bores no one indeed. I sought her refuge that evening for some reason that I don’t exactly remember. All I did was just stand on the green grass under the shady breeze of a tree as simple as that. But my eyes were feasted with a whole lot of things that remain everlastingly fresh in my memory. It’s true that she treats with more than you seek. The treat was not just visual. The fragrance of the flower that danced to the tunes of the breeze, the sounds of chirping birds, screaming kids, the soft touch of the grass and the amidst all these, the silence that my heart felt all these made me realize that there is something more, much more to life than my computer and my mobile phone. I was experiencing that new sense of happiness with a blend of mystery and delight much like a seven year old getting his first video game set. It was satisfying yet luring for more with every passing moment. I was thinking how nice it would be to enjoy this more often and closed my eyes and thanked God for the opportunity! And I slipped into my dreamland with my life.

'Hey, I told you it was all fine.’
He then knew it was a clear sign
That they were in the same sweet boat,
And some wave will keep ‘em afloat !

Their walk so melodious and richly flowing;
Smiles and joy came along glowing.
They picked every leaf and lonely flower
That lay on the way, hour after hour !

He heard her heart and mind so clear
Not once did they need words to near
Grand attire on cute young feet
A treat to watch a print so neat !

Time may pass and they may grow
Change has lots of secrets to throw
Their shoes may not fit them that time
And their talk may not sound sublime !

But deep in their hearts firmly set
Was a feeling of comfort they always met;
Every friend knows that this is love
One that does not need any dove !

And there was a loud noise that closed the fantasy doors of that world and opened my eyes to annoyingly greet the bright sun whose punctuality. I’ve always envied. Around me were four thick walls and that same room of mine that had witnessed nearly every ‘face’ of mine! Oh! Only a dream hmmm! Well, yes. Where’s all that greenery and poetic dreams today in reality! It’s machines all the way. Even that ‘loud noise’ was from my mobile’s alarm. Imagine if we all were to live without our mobile phones and computers. Most of us can’t even think of it! Let’s give space to nature and poems in our dreams at least!

Do people reveal their true Identity on social Media?

Yay! This post won the BLOGJUNTA's 'THE GREAT DEBATERS' Contest - Debate 2 - Junta's Choice, Check out the results here. Thanks for all the sweet hearts who voted for me and for the 'FAV IT' on BJ...

Of course they do, people do reveal their true Identity on Social Media. If you think, identity is just the name, age, sex, location and pictures then you are wrong because most of the online Social Media Sites share the same. Then what is identity? i.e., true identity, it is beyond those names, age, sex, location and pictures. ‘Beauty is skin deep, Identity is name deep?’ No, it is more than that, it is the thoughts behind your words, and the true heart behind it reveals your true identity.

'Our true reality is in our identity and unity with all life ~ Joseph Campbell'

'Committing yourself is a way of finding out who you are. A man finds his identity by identifying who he is to his heart ~ Author Unknown'

My thoughts right from my heart (true identity)

Well, it may be chat, Orkut, Facebook, or Twitter, the words from your heart reveals your true identity. However, one would complaint the words used in chat world, the A, S, L, and vulgar words on 3D chats would question me, “Are they revealing their true identity?” I would say, ‘Yes’. If you speak with a person face to face they may not reveal their true identity but in chat they do reveal who they are and for what they wanna be friends. “Can anyone say no this? Aren’t they revealing their true identity?

Be it Orkut, Facebook or Twitter people do write from their hearts. Here are few of those written from heart.

* My Blood friend was gifted with a prince last week. She shared the status as

Aren’t those words from her heart? Her prince was a waited gift and I dedicated my words to the Prince here.

We even share our happiness in Facebook and Twitter,” as they easily reflects our moods and identity.

*When I was upset, I planned to stop writing and shared a status in FB

How many of you came to console me. Aren’t those words are true from your heart? Do they reveal your true identity or just for the sake of words? I believed it, consider your words and that's why I am here..

And few more here on various occasions..

No newspaper garden is free of weeds”, Sumana Raman, express her thoughts on grammatical errors found in Newspaper, “Did she afraid of expressing it or aren’t they from her heart?

Next to Chat, Orkut, Facebook and Twitter, is Blogging, how many you have put these lines in your Bio, “This is the place I share my memories, my journey, my life”, even I do the same, aren’t these words reflects your heart? Aren’t you revealing your true identity? I bet, all my regular readers knew that I do romance with my pen and the journey is a sweet dedication is someone special in my life, Am I not revealing my true identity because I write with my pen name… Of course I do reveal, pen name is not the mask but it is who you are to your heart, if you can say your identity is your name then I would say my identity is my pen name and my words is my true identity. If you still feel, I am not, then how many of you love to be called with your nicknames by your loved ones. “Aren’t they changing your identity?” “Say, yes or no...” and how many of you would express your true identity here?

Beauty is skin deep, Identity is name deep?

Finally, the point is the words expressed from their heart reveal the truth about those individuals. As they say, ‘Do not judge a book by its cover’, yes do not judge people by their identity (profile) instead by their true identity (character and soul). And yes, of course, people have freedom to be true on social media and that’s why most of the people reveal their true identity on Social Media.

! Happy Man ! to be listed under BEST ENTRIES OF 'TO HAVE LOVED AND LOST' in FACEBOOK

Special Thanks to Ismita Tandon Dhanker for the SmileS, and also for the hearts who 'FAV IT' on BJ. 'Last but not the least' thanks to BlogJunta

AND I DEDICATE THIS WIN TO MY MOM AND SIS

For being born as a woman, God blessed me
With a tiny cute angel in my womb
Fulfilling the birthright of a woman
The Sweet days of motherhood bloomed
And I treasured those to the highest degree
Her sweet touches and punches are the one
Those made me fly high into the sky
The more she played
the more
she made
me happy
the more I
treasured!
intolerable
pain it was

with love, I carried her into this world
and with tears, I gifted her to God's heaven
the pain was worse as it filled my heart with
tears and it became a hobby

I requested my angel

'Oh my angel rest your wings
Stay with me for a while
I will feed you my milk
I will sing a lullaby for you
I will hold your hand for a while
And enjoy your tender smile
Why you have gone away?
Please come back to me
Please
Please'

the cry
of a mother

“The Lost World”

PS: My mom dedicated this poem to my lost sister. She lived in this awful world for just four days. My mom dictated this poem in Tamil and I translated it. . I have to say, ‘My Mom is a precious angel found in this earth’.

Is falling in 'Love' once-a-lifetime feeling?

Yay! This post won the BLOGJUNTA's 'THE GREAT DEBATERS' Contest, Check out the results here. Thanks for all the sweet hearts who voted for me and also for those who 'FAV IT' on BJ...

Undoubtedly, ‘Falling in Love is once-a-lifetime feeling’. I am here to pen down my thoughts on this topic; if my thoughts hurt someone unknowingly then PS: I am sorry.

‘Don't find love, let love find you. That's why it's called falling in love, because you don't force yourself to fall, you just fall.’

‘To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world.’

‘Love is always bestowed as a gift - freely, willingly and without expectation. We don't love to be loved; we love to love. - Leo Buscaglia’

I hope these sayings would suffice that falling in Love is once-a-lifetime feeling, but adding my thoughts right from my heart…

Love’ the four-letter word that spells magic on humans to live their life for someone special in their life, to feel someone’s feel, to think of someone, and to fall in love with someone madly.

* The moment you fall in ‘Love’, went on your knees to propose your love, the moment you were proposed by someone special, the moment you first kissed someone special or when butterflies filled your stomach while uttering the phrase, ‘I Love U’ are priceless. You cannot afford to buy those sweet moments and they can be felt only once in your lifetime. If it repeats, you won’t feel the same zeal in it.

* People run away from home or fight their parents, blood relations to live with someone special in their life. What is the reason behind it? ‘Love’ because it is once-a-lifetime feeling.

* Why people commit Suicides because of ‘Love Failure’ or for ‘Love’? Is it because there is no girl/boy in this world other than the one they loved? No, it is because ‘Falling in Love is once a lifetime feeling’; once they love someone, they remain in their heart forever. Stats, say that Current Average World Suicide Rate: 10.07 per 100,000 people and 6.7 per 100,000 people is because of ‘Love Failure’ or for ‘Love’

Last but not the least, ‘Love is like a flower, it blossoms only once, lives happily until it dies. For most of us it is like a flower, that’s why Falling in ‘Love’ is once-a-lifetime feeling.

With these sweet thoughts, I love to conclude that ‘Falling in Love is once-a-lifetime feeling’. Not everyone falls in love if you fall then you are one of the luckiest people in this world and words can never say how sweet it is...

Through a child’s eyes

This poem have WON BLOGJUNTA's 'NaPrWriMo Month, Poem of the day. Check out the results here

Through a child’s eyes
World is a space for humans
Neither the boundaries
Nor their skins matter

Through a child’s eyes
Race is what happens
On the school playground
Not the human colors

Through a child’s eyes
God is an unseen love
Adored for the blessings
Not the religious divisions

Through a child’s eyes
Mommy & Daddy are souls
Friends & Siblings are blood
Rests of them are relatives

Through a child’s eyes
This poem is a rhyme
A bunch of words to cheer
Without knowing the real fear

Happy New Year !
Happy to a perfect Poet
Thanks for the smiles

! Wishes !

BlogJunta - An ode to the Blogosphere

Thanks BlogJunta for picking this post as Editor's Choice.

The poem "! Wishes !", selected by Gemma @ Greyscale Territory as her choice of best blog posts (January 2011). Wanna know what she said about this post, read it here

"Amazing character sketches of personas! Love the slight differences and especially love the real inner spirit imbued in the last very personal insight into the writer's persona! (in response to !Wishes! by Someone is Special)" - Happy man to read these sweet words and to be in the list of selected blogs..

As a human being...
O my beautiful God!
Give me the world
With no trace of war
Give me the country
With no fear of crime
Give me the people
With no difference in races
Give me the neighbor
With no jealousy in heart
Give me the relations
With no fake smile on the face
If not,
Give me the soul
With no wish to wish!

As an IT Professional...

O my beautiful God!
Give me the workplace
With no partiality in people
Give me the client
With no insulting words on call
Give me the project
With no dreadful word: deadline
Give me the code
With no bug in it
Give me the day
With no Monitor to stare at
If not,
Give me the world
With no ‘IT’ word!

As a poet...

O my beautiful God!
Give me the morning
With no horn sound
Give me the night
With no artificial stars
Give me the air
With no pollution in it
Give me the water
With no ships on it
Give me the Mountain
With no tourists in it
If not,
Give me the heart
With no love for poems!

As Someone is Special

O my beautiful God!
Give back the beautiful place
Where I lived for 300 peaceful days
Give back the joyful childhood
When I smiled for no reasons
Give back the friendly lap
Where I slept for hours
Give back the lovely day
When I slept for 24 hours
Give back the school
Where I was the only Hero
Give back the sweet moments
When I scored centum in Mathematics
Give back the narrow road
Where I raced with cycles
Give back the pleasant time
When I first felt who I am to someone
If not,
Give me the heart
With belief as weapon
That these words will come true
One day!

O my beautiful God!
  Grant me these wishes!
O my beautiful God!
